Vintage By The Sea, is a free family festival celebrating the brilliance of timeless design, fashion, art, vehicles, entertainment and culture in  Morecambe. Inspired by the wealth of creativity from the 20th century, Vintage By The Sea is Hemingway Design’s tribute to the cultural movements of the 1920s to 1990s.

Vintage Mobile Cinema

Vintage Mobile Cinema - as featured in Channel 4’s Amazing Spaces - makes Vintage Debut. In 1967, The Ministry of Technology built seven of custom mobile cinema units to tour the country, promoting modern production techniques to British industry. Fast-forward fifty years and Vintage by the Sea were very proud to present The Vintage Mobile Cinema.

The 32 seater cinema has been carefully and beautifully restored and is the last known survivor of the original seven.
