FUTURE VINTAGE
Future Vintage plays a significant role in the event... Vintage celebrated the future as well as the past.
At Vintage 2010 we signed up the likes of Marc Newson, Thomas Heatherwick , Matthew Hilton, Peter Saville, Jonathan Glancey, Stephen Bayley, Miranda Sawyer, Jeremy Clarkson and many more to stick their necks out and show us what they believe is the future. Did we and the ‘Vintage Futurologists’ get it right?
In 2012 we are extending the concept to include performers that we believe will be remembered in decades to come such as Aloe Blaac (“I need a Dollar” will be on playlists for many a year), Lianne le Havas, the future of fashion can be found at the British Fashion Councils New Generation catwalk show and in the Future Vintage designer area of the Vintage Marketplace. We will also be looking at the future of crafts and designer makers... Keep posted!
