Vintage Festival is a sensual delight, a big dressing-up box, a collector’s dream and a joyous creative feast for all ages. For one glamorous weekend we celebrate the music, fashion, film, art & design, dance and food from the 1920s to the 1980s that has made Britain the world’s creative and cultural hot bed.

The glorious grounds of Boughton House provide the backdrop and will transform into a multi-venue playground where, over 3 days, ticket holders can ‘learn the dances’, take in specially curated live performances, exclusive DJ sets, catwalk shows, brilliantly conceived food and cocktails, or take advantage of the decade specific hair and beauty makeovers and all the wonderful vintage shopping on offer. Could the beat combos and the rock of the 60s have gained such momentum without Carnaby St, Granny Takes a Trip, the Pop Artists, photographers and film makers that were “at one” with the musicians? Could there have been the Sex Pistols, the Clash et al without Vivienne Westwood, Malcolm McLaren and the epoch defining Seditionaries shop? Could Duran Duran, Depeche Mode and the 80s futurists have evolved without hanging out in Kensington Market and at The Blitz Club?

Vintage is not just about headline acts that are used to sell tickets; it’s about intelligently assembling a line up of performers, fashion shows and interesting pop-up art and design exhibitions. Vintage has content that will delight, surprise and hopefully prompt visitors to want to find out more about a band, an artist, a designer, a film or an art movement that they had little prior knowledge of.
