The Torch Club

Torch Club

Inspired by the golden age of 1930s & ‘40s Jazz, Miss Rosie & The Moonshyne Runners will resurrect the spirit of swing, before Natty Congeroo & the Flames of Rhythm set the stage alight with their authentic orchestra. In between the live music, Sweden’s Big Papa Mac will be spinning the vinyl; Hoc and Mark will be on hand to guide you through the steps of some light-hearted period party dances and the dance floor will be open to all. After midnight, The Clore Ballroom transforms into an intimate Cabaret Club with more live performances, dancing & great music from a bygone era.

Inspired by the great vocalists from the golden age of jazz, Miss Rosie assembled The Moonshyne Runners to resurrect the spirit of swing. With a repertoire rooted in the music of the 1930s and 1940s, this sextet will bring the bounce back to your steps.

Natty Congeroo & the Flames of Rhythm play a heady mix of 1920s, ‘30s & ‘40s Hot Jazz, Harlem Swing, R&B, Gospel, Early Blues, Hepcat Jazz & McVoutiness!

Chief scoundrel Big Papa Mac brings vinyl from the 1920´s to the 1940's to The Torch Club! He prides himself on selecting only the best music from the vaults, from hot jazz to mambo, swing to boogie-woogie.  Come on down and shake your tail feather as much as you like!
